- Suitable for which type of housing? House, townhome, anywhere with a fenced yard - Buffy loves the outside.
- Is your dog good with other dogs? Yes, she is playful. Buffy plays happily with our dog who is a similar size. They run and play tug of war with toys. She is curious about other dogs when out walking, occasionally barks when a dog walks down the pathway next to our home and sometimes when she hears a dog on the TV.
- Is your dog good with cats? Untested. Buffy will probably want to play, she is very interested in investigating squirrels and rabbits when out walking.
- Is your dog good with kids? Buffy has only lived with teenagers in our care. She has met younger children when out on walks and was curious.
- Is your dog house trained? Yes
- Is your dog crate trained? Yes, she sleeps in a crate overnight, she is sometimes a little reluctant to go in but quickly settles.
- Does your dog have any special needs? No
- Does your dog have any or display any aggression? (Toys, food or people?) No. Tested with removal of toys and food.
- Is your dog playful? Yes! She loves to play. She enjoys chewing toys (not shown any sign of wanting to chew furniture or anything she shouldn’t).
- Does your dog like to snuggle? She is affectionate, she is excited to see her people and will nudge for attention.
- Does your dog know basic commands? She is smart and is learning sit, touch and recall
- Does your dog know any special tricks? No
- Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes! She has 2 x 30 minute walks a day, morning and evening round the neighbourhood. She is learning to walk on a leash and this training will need to be continued by her adoptive family.
- Does your dog have any fears? No
- Does your dog have any unique traits that you have noticed whether in personality or physically? Her eyes! She has the most beautiful blue eyes and very soft fur.
- What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Buffy is curious, playful and friendly.
- Buffy is a sweetheart. She is a gentle girl who loves to play. She enjoys her walks at a brisk pace and is good company. She would make a great addition to a home that is ready to keep putting in the effort.
