Jax is a great dog. He is sweet, gentle and such a lovely boi. He loves to just be with his people, whether it is hanging out on the couch or going for a walk... he just loves it. He is very calm when people are around, but he does get into trouble when we are out. He has broken out of a crate a few times at his previous foster home and has done some counter surfing at his current foster home.. He doesn’t bark or seem stressed when we are not home... likely just bored or worried. Jax will need help with crate training in his furever home or a safe space for him in the home where he can’t get into trouble.
He has settled in nicely here, learning to play and getting the zoomies too. He loves his walks and we enjoy about 40 min in the morning and 20-30 min in the afternoon/evening. He loves sniffing and checking out the world. Jax will need to build confidence and manners with meeting other dogs while on walks, currently he is unpredictable when seeing/meeting other dogs - he barks and growls when he gets close. Training is recommended for this, to help him learn some manners and build confidence..
