- Suitable for which type of housing? (House, townhome, apartment?) He has done well in a condo, but would benefit from a yard in which to expend some energy
- Is your dog good with other dogs? He gets along well with our fairly dominant Great Dane and our very gentle Mini Schnauzer. He is very curious but polite and well-behaved when meeting new dogs
- Is your dog good with cats? Not tested
- Is your dog good with kids? Not tested
- Is your dog house trained? Yes
- Is your dog crate trained? Yes – he loves his crate and has spent up to 9 hours in it without accidents or other issues
- Does your dog have any special needs? No
- Does your dog have any or display any aggression? (Toys, food or people?) No
- Is your dog playful? Very – especially in the mornings
- Does your dog like to snuggle? He’s very cuddly and loves belly rubs
- Does your dog know basic commands? (Sit, stay...) Maddox is very clever, he loves to please and he knows “Sit” (he learned fast because that is followed by belly rubs – his favorite!), lay down and “stay” but he does have a puppy-sized attention span – LOL – so we’re working on “stay” but for longer.
- Does your dog know any special tricks? No
- Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes – he loves walks! He rarely pulls and is learning to pay attention and not get mixed up in the feet of humans or other dogs
- Does your dog have any fears? Nothing noticed
- Does your dog have any unique traits that you have noticed whether in personality or physically? He’s a very sweet and sensitive guy. He needs his pack leader – he needs a strong and loving Owner – and I truly believe that he will happily and lovingly follow you forever.
- What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Funny, clever, loving
- Maddox is a real gem of a puppy! He’s a sweet, happy, super smart little guy. He’ll be very loyal to his owner as he’s already demonstrated toward me. He’s so easily trainable with treats and he eagerly wants to please. He can easily live with other dogs though hasn’t been tested with cats (but he has been so good to not be pushy around my senior dogs which leads me to believe he’d respect a cat’s space as well). He’s going to make someone a wonderful family pet and honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this little guy – he’s a very special little guy!
