- Suitable for which type of housing? (House, townhome, apartment?): Any home
- Is your dog good with other dogs? He has been great with our dogs
- Is your dog good with cats? untested
- Is your dog good with kids? Untested, but he is very gentle
- Is your dog house trained? Work in progress
- Is your dog crate trained? He will have accidents in the crate overnight, but does very well otherwise
- Does your dog have any special needs? No
- Does your dog have any or display any aggression? (Toys, food or people?)When we first brought him home, he did display a little resource guarding with food and water, but has been doing so much better
- Is your dog playful? Yes, he loves to play with our dogs
- Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes, he loves to snuggle!
- Does your dog know basic commands? (Sit, stay...) He does fairly well with sit, if food is involved
- Does your dog know any special tricks? No
- Does your dog like to go on walks? We have not taken him on walks yet as he has been in isolation due to parvo, we are giving him extra time before going outside just to allow him time to regain strength
- Does your dog have any fears? None that we have noticed
- Does your dog have any unique traits that you have noticed whether in personality or physically? No
- What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? snuggle bug, playful, piglet, expressive eyes
- Recce is a fighter, he came into care a little thin and with parvovirus. After several days at the vet, he was able to come home where he took his medications like a champ, and regained his health and his strength. He is putting on weight, and plays well with the pack. Recce loves to cuddle and sleep in our laps. If you are eating a snack on the couch, he will look at you with the saddest eyes to try to trick you into thinking he's starving. He is so full of love and trust, and loves his belly rubs and ear scratches.
