    • What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: feisty, endearing and loveable

    - Saphir is completely blind and about 95% deaf. He needs owners who will not move things around his area. Once he gets used to where things are he moves around quite well. I'm now trying to get him used to a clicker so he can find me. Also I'm trying to get him to "feel" and go on the pee pads.

    - Because of his mild chronic kidney disease he takes a small amount of medication once a day.

    - He is allergic to chicken and Clavamax antibiotic.

    • He is still underweight but gaining. He has no teeth and will need to be on soft food.
    • When he wants attention he will either find me and poke me with his nose or stand around and bark. If he's in my arms and starts to fuss it's because he needs to go on his pee pad, NOW!
    • If I go out he is sequestered in the living room where he has access to his water/food and pee pads.
    • Now that he has a winter coat he can come out to the mailbox in his Outward Hound front carrier.
