• Is your dog good with other dogs? Yes - additional to add for dog interactions: He is very respectful to other dogs. He has had other dogs come into his foster home and he is happy to see them and he has met dogs on leash and he just wants to play
• Is your dog good with cats? No - additional to add for cat interactions: Will chase
• Is your dog good with kids? Yes - additional to add for kids interaction: He did live with kids in his home. He is independent so kids who will give him space are okay
• Is your dog house trained? Yes - additional to add for house training: He is fully house trained

• Does your dog have any special needs? No
• Does your dog display any aggression (toys, food, people)? No. He likes people and dogs. He will chase cats though
• Is your dog playful? Yes! He may not like to fetch a ball but he likes to play catch. He also is learning to love to play tug.
• Does your dog like to snuggle? He is very independent. He will not snuggle too much but will come to you to be pet and to play
• Does your dog know basic commands? (e.g., Sit, Stay) Sit, lie down, shake a paw.
• Does your dog know any special tricks? No but he is very food motivated
• Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes! He loves walks. Because he is an older gentleman he doesn't need the long walks that a husky usually needs. He is able to go for long hikes and adventures if his new family wants to!
• Does your dog have any fears? None. He is very confident!
• Does your dog have any unique traits (personality or physical)? He is very silly. He may be 9 but he acts much younger :) He is a very handsome (everyone comments on it) and the pictures do not capture all his beauty.
• What are the first three words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Handsome, spirited, calm

Tanner may be 9 years old but don't let his age fool you. He is still very spirited and youthful. He is incredibly handsome (and he hears it everytime we go for a walk) and still very healthy. Compared to your average husky he is very calm. He is happy with a couple shorter walks per day but will also be happy to take hikes if his new family enjoys going for adventures. Tanner is very calm in the car. He will jump in all by himself and settle right away. Tanner loves other dogs. He is happy to meet them on walks and when they come into his home. He will try to chase small animals and cats so he is best in a home without them.
Any family will be lucky to add Tanner into their family. He needs someone to look past his age and give him living home.
