Did you know that 100% of our donation goes directly to the dogs as Freedom Dog Rescue is run by volunteers? Do you want to help out in our mission to make Freedom happen one dog at a time?

Just in 2020, Freedom Dog Rescue incurred in $370K in vetting expenses alone and our adoption fees just partially covers the expenses. With 15 palliative dogs in our care and many medical cases, we appreciate any support in the form of donations or support for one of our fun interactive fundraising events (make sure to check out one of our fun fill events in our event pages).

If you would like to support us we have the following ways to donate:

-You can etransfer to finance@freedomdogrescue.ca, with the preferred password of “freedom”, comment “ donations

-You can donate via paypal (you can also set up a monthly donation system); check out the button on the side of the page to set up your payroll donation.

-You can send cheques to our head office at 1820 Wolf Grove Rd, Almonte, Ontario, K0A1A0

We issue donation receipt for all donations >$25 over the entire year.

With your permission, we will also publicly acknowledge you on our Website and other social media platform. Check out some of our Thankful Thursdays below.

Birthday Presents/ In Memory of donations

Do you want to honour a special person or dog who is having a birthday or who has passed? You can send a donation to Freedom and we will post the Birthday or In memory of donation on our website as well as Facebook. Please reach out to finance@freedomdogrescue.ca for more information and our Treasurer will out to ask for additional information and photos.

Business Donations/ Sponsorships

Are you a business and you LOVE dogs?! Please email our Treasurer at finance@freedomdogrescue.ca  or our Fundraising Director at fundraising@freedomdogrescue.ca in finding out how you and your business can support our dogs in care. Freedom Dog Rescue is a federally incorporated organization with a not for profit registration number and we would love to work with you in supporting of our dogs should you want to advertise with Freedom! We have an amazing platform of supporters and viewership. We host an annually golf tournament and we are always looking for amazing businesses to partner with while benefitting our palliative and medical cases in care.

Donation of supplies

There are always other ways to help! We are always in need of dog supplies like – dog food, toys, treats and bones, collars, easy walkers, harnesses, crates, dog beds, bowls, leashes, shampoo, blankets, doggie diapers/male wraps, pee pads, puppy formula, please email for our drop off locations around the city freedomdogdonations@gmail.com . If you donated supplies with purchase receipt, you are eligible for a donation receipt. Please email finance@freedomdogrescue.ca for more information.
