Suitable for which type of housing? (House, townhome, apartment?) Any, I’m a quiet girl. My foster family has never heard me bark, although I do cry softly when I’m left alone.
Is your dog good with other dogs? I’m a bit anxious around new dogs but I’ve settled in well with my foster family’s two large dogs. I’m interested in dogs on walks and would likely do well living with another similar age, low energy dog.
Is your dog good with cats? Untested Is your dog good with kids? Yes, I love everyone I meet!
Is your dog house trained? Yes, my foster Mom is so proud of me because I haven’t had a single accident. Is your dog crate trained? No, but I am a very good girl and if left alone, I am not destructive. I will find a snuggly corner to sleep and wait until you return. At night, I will curl up by your feet if you let me on your bed, and not make a peep until morning.
Does your dog have any special needs? No
Does your dog have any or display any aggression? (Toys, food or people?) When a new dog gets in my space, I may give them a little snap. I’m not aggressive but I’m a senior lady and need time and space to warm up to new dogs and places. I am not possessive over toys or food and don’t mind sharing my toys with my fur siblings. My foster Mom says I can be disturbed while eating and am happy to share my food with my dog friends if given the chance.
Is your dog playful? I’m a senior so my puppy energy is long gone, but I do enjoy a good zoomie in the yard, or a double paw slam when playing with other dogs (I just need a nap after!). I don’t care for bones, but I will carry my stuffies around the house, especially my hedgehog who is my favourite! Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes, I love to snuggle and I will gently nuzzle you for scratches.
Does your dog know basic commands? (Sit, stay…) I know sit and come….maybe more. My foster family is still learning just how smart I am!
Does your dog know any special tricks? No Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes, I love walks and I’m a good girl on my leash. I don’t pull unless I see a dog. I’m not reactive, just excited and want to say hello.
Does your dog have any fears? I seem to be more comfortable with women, although I will warm up to men, just need a bit more time. I’m a bit anxious in new situations, but with some cuddles, reassurance, and space, I settle in in no time.
Does your dog have any unique traits that you have noticed whether in personality or physically? I will ‘nose’ you gently if you don’t give me enough scratches, I can’t help it though, I’m a loving girl and it just feels so good! What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? 2 / 2 Gentle, sweet, easy
