• Is your dog good with other dogs? Yes - additional to add for dog interactions : He absolutely loves other dogs and is always excited to make new friends! Like many puppies, his play style is very enthusiastic and he tends to treat every dog like a littermate, jumping right into play. He’s still learning polite dog-to-dog greetings and would do great with friendly adult dogs who can help show him the ropes and match his playful energy.
• Is your dog good with cats? Untested - additional to add for cat interactions : Untested but very curious of all creatures. He does get excited, so introductions would best be made slow and supervised.
• Is your dog good with kids? Untested - additional to add for kids interaction : Would do well with older children as he is very playful and exuberant.
• Is your dog house trained? In Progress - additional to add for house training : House training is in progress and improving every day. With a regular potty schedule he does very well, and he’s highly treat motivated which helps him learn quickly.
• Is your dog crate trained? In Progress - additional to add for crate training : Crate training is in progress. He currently naps and sleeps overnight in his puppy pen and is learning to settle nicely in his own space.
• Does your dog have any special needs? No special needs. Like any young puppy, he’ll thrive in a home that can provide consistent training, structure, and routine as he continues learning his puppy manners.
• Does your dog display any aggression (toys, food, people)? No, not at all. He’s a sweet, friendly puppy who loves people. He loves playing with toys and is food motivated. He’s currently in the teething stage and learning appropriate play manners.
• Is your dog playful? Yes! He’s extremely playful, curious, and affectionate. He loves exploring, playing with toys, and being around people. Like many puppies his age, he can get excited quickly but settles well with guidance and routine.
• Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes! He’s a very affectionate puppy who loves being close to his people. He’ll happily jump into your lap for cuddles and kisses and often falls asleep right beside you. He also loves cozy spots and will sometimes tuck himself under couches, beds, or tables like a little burrowing fox.
• Does your dog know basic commands? (e.g., Sit, Stay) He’s beginning to learn his basic commands and already knows “sit.” He’s very treat motivated and learns quickly with routine and positive reinforcement, so he’ll do great continuing his puppy training.
• Does your dog know any special tricks? He’s a big fan of snow! This little fox-lookalike loves climbing snow piles to people-watch, and if you say “dig, dig, dig!” he’ll happily burrow into the snow and pop out before sliding down the hill.
• Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes. He loves walks and exploring the world. He’s very curious and excited, loves meeting people and dogs, and enjoys sniffing everything along the way. He’s still learning leash manners, but his enthusiasm and social nature make walks a lot of fun!
• Does your dog have any fears? No known fears. He’s curious about new sights and experiences, taking a careful approach by watching first and then exploring at his own pace.
• Does your dog have any unique traits (personality or physical)? He’s a little red fox in personality and appearance! With his big ears and fluffy coat, he looks like a playful fox and moves like one too. He’s so curious, clever, and always exploring. He’s extremely social and affectionate, loves snuggling and being near people, and is fascinated by new sights, smells, and experiences. He has a playful streak that’s full of energy and creativity, like burrowing, climbing, and sliding during play. He’s also very food motivated and eager to please so he learns quickly, making him a smart, fun, and trainable companion.
