• Is your dog playful? Yes, Millie likes balls and toys.
• Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes! Millie loves to be in the laps or arms of her people. She is a Velcro dog wanting physical contact and closeness.

• Does your dog like to go on walks? Yes, loves walks! Millie occasionally pulls on her halter leash towards interesting smells. Her loose leash walking could use some improvement.
• Does your dog have any fears? Millie gets moderately anxious in large new spaces (box stores) but loves to greet every stranger and will take treats from them.

Millie appears to be an Alpha female who wants to run the household as “Miss Bossy Pants” Displays of her dominance may be challenging for other resident pets, particularly other possessive dogs or shy cats. Currently Millie lives with another resident dog and a dog savvy cat in foster care. Consistent rules helped to manage her tendency to take the favorite lap, favorite chair, favorite toy, etc.

Millie is a charming social pup who LOVES people. She is eager for affection and boldly seeks out what her cuteness deserves. Millie prefers to be with people and not on her own. She will vocalize when left alone in a room (crated or loose) but she is practicing daily crate naps in foster care. Millie is food motivated and quick to learn tricks to earn her treats. She is an athletic little dog with long legs and slim body so may be suited to running or agility. Her energy level is medium high and she loves long sniffy walks. She loves belly rubs and brushing, especially if she can lick your hand too. Millie has so much love, loyalty and devotion to give and is eager for a forever home.
