    Handsome, smart and playful

In a short paragraph, please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog.
Mully is a handsome, smart, and playful 1-year-old Aussie x Golden x Husky male in the 60–70 lb range who will do best in a house with a yard where he can run and burn off energy. He is good with most dogs and loves to play and run with his canine friends and his people. Like many young, athletic dogs, Mully will benefit from continued structure, clear boundaries, and regular exercise to help him thrive. He can become very excited when he sees other dogs on leash and tends to pull, so ongoing leash training is needed and he currently does best walking with a halti. Mully has shown some resource guarding with food and toys around other dogs, so sparate feeding and consistent management will help him continue to improve. He is very food-motivated, which makes training easier. Mully is incredibly affectionate and loves leaning in for scratches and tummy rubs. He already knows several commands such as sit, down, shake a paw, and gentle. Because of his size and strength, he would be best suited to a home with older or bigger kids. Cats are currently untested.
