Suitable for which type of housing? House or well sound-proofed townhome – Snow is still adjusting to being separated from his littermates and can get quite upset when alone, so some crying is expected.
Is your dog good with other dogs? Yes – very interested in other dogs, though like most puppies, he wants to jump all over them! He may be a bit much for older, quieter dogs. He is currently fostered with his brother Sneeuw.
Is your dog good with cats? Untested – with a slow introduction and proper separation, Snow may be able to live peacefully with cats.
Is your dog good with kids? Untested – he is nippy and jumpy (as puppies are), so would do best with older kids who can confidently handle typical puppy behavior.
Is your dog house trained? No – he is still very young.
Is your dog crate trained? No – currently sharing a crate with his brother.
Does your dog have any special needs? Patience for house and crate training. A home with experience with bully breeds or willingness to provide structure, training, and positive reinforcement would be ideal.
Does your dog display any aggression? No aggression, but like all young puppies, he is mouthy and may nip during play.
Is your dog playful? Yes – playful but also more mellow and gentle compared to his brother.
Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes – Snow is especially cuddly and enjoys being held when he’s not in full play mode.
Does your dog know basic commands? No – still too young.
Does your dog know any special tricks? No – still too young.
Does your dog like to go on walks? Not yet – not fully vaccinated.
Does your dog have any fears? Being alone – Snow is especially sensitive to separation.
Does your dog have any unique traits? A tad smaller than his brother, more sensitive and affectionate, with beautiful darker blue eyes and a sweet, gentle nature.
What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Sweet, sensitive, snuggly
Short Overview:
Snow is a sweet, sensitive, and snuggly 7–8-week-old American Bully mix puppy with light blue eyes and a gentle personality. The smaller compared to his littermate brother Sneeuw, he is very affectionate and enjoys cuddles more than his more rambunctious brother. Though playful and curious, Snow is especially sensitive to being left alone and will need support as he adjusts to life without his littermates. He is very food motivated, which will help with training, and would thrive in a quiet, loving home that can provide structure, consistency, patience, and lots of cuddles. Ideal for a family, couple, or individual ready for the joys and work of raising a young pup!
