Suitable for which type of housing?
    House
    Townhome

    Additional to add for housing
Fenced yard and where some barking when he is crated or away from his human will be tolerated.

Is your dog good with other dogs?
    Yes

Additional to add for dog interactions
Tito is a young dog who would benefit from supervised socializing. He has shown a bit of resource guarding but with proper boundaries and positive reinforcement this can be corrected. Tito has lived with another dog but can be overly excited on leash.

Is your dog good with cats?
    Untested

Additional to add for cat interactions
Untested, most likely not as he may get overly excited if the resident cats do not have space away from him safely.

Is your dog good with kids?
    Untested

Additional to add for kids interaction
Tito would need to be supervised until he is taught some basic obedience. He can be nippy. Recommend 12+

    Is your dog house trained?
    Yes

    Is your dog crate trained?
    In Progress

Additional to add for crate training
Tito is comfortable using his crate on his own and will often choose to rest there if the door is left open. When crated while someone is home, he may bark briefly before settling. Tito experiences separation anxiety when left alone in his crate and may need extra support while adjusting to a new home. A consistent routine and, if needed, short-term medication can help during the transition. He has successfully been weaned off medication and is currently able to settle in his crate on his own with an established routine.

Does your dog have any special needs?
Tito has separation anxiety when crated and may need extra support while adjusting to a new home. A consistent routine and, if needed, short-term medication can help him settle. As at right now, Tito has weaned off medication and would settle on his own in the crates.

Tito thrives with clear boundaries and consistent expectations. If undesirable behaviours are reinforced or he feels treated unfairly around valued items (around people or other dogs), he may become nippy. With fair, consistent handling and reward system, he does well. Currently in care, his handlers has not observed any nipping behaviours.

Does your dog display any aggression (toys, food, people)?
Tito does not display generalized aggression toward people, food, or toys. However, if he feels a valued item has been taken from him unfairly or if inappropriate behaviours are reinforced, he may respond by becoming nippy. He does best with clear boundaries, fair reward structure. He would benefit with adopters that are calm, patient and experienced. Currently in care, his handlers has not observed any nipping behaviours.

    Is your dog playful?
Very. He is a young dog who is very active and goofy.

Does your dog like to snuggle?
Yes but Tito also likes his quiet time. He does not like to be disturbed when sleeping.

Does your dog know basic commands? (e.g., Sit, Stay)
    Sit.

Does your dog know any special tricks?
    Not yet.

Does your dog like to go on walks?
Very much. He is a young dog that will require regular exercise.

Does your dog have any fears?
Tito has separation anxiety when away from his people and some resources guarding with other dogs. This can be addressed with a stable, calm and patient home and routine and fair reward structures.

Does your dog have any unique traits (personality or physical)?
    No

What are the first three words that come to mind when you think of your dog?
    Adorable, sunny and sensitive.

In a short paragraph, please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog.
Tito is a 1 years old beagle x that is about 18 lb. He is a fun, affectionate, and active young dog with a goofy personality and lots of love to give. He enjoys walks, playtime, and spending time with his people, while also appreciating quiet time to relax. Tito will thrive in a calm, structured home with consistent routines, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement. He is adjusting well after being weaned off medication for separation anxiety but may need extra support during the transition to a new home. With patient, experienced adopters who understand his needs, Tito has the potential to become a wonderful, loyal companion.
