- Suitable for which type of housing? (House, townhome, apartment?) Ideally a house in the country with lots of open spaces, or, alternatively, a town home with a large yard and plenty of areas to walk.
- Probably not an apartment as he needs a big space.
- Is your dog good with other dogs? Yes. However, we have always kept him on leash around other dogs as he tends to lunge at them in his eagerness to make friends. With training, we suspect he will learn to approach other dogs calmly. He shows no signs of aggression at all towards other dogs.
- Is your dog good with cats? We think so although he hasn’t been around a cat apart from on our walks.
- He didn’t seem reactive in any way so we feel he might have been around cats in his previous home.
- Is your dog good with kids? We think so as he seems good around everyone. However, he is a big boy and very strong so small children might be an issue.
- Is your dog house trained? Yes
- Is your dog crate trained? No tested although he will go into his crate if we put food in there.
- Does your dog have any special needs? Just needs lots of love and walks
- Does your dog have any or display any aggression? (Toys, food or people?) No
- Is your dog playful? More loving than playful
- Does your dog like to snuggle? Absolutely
- Does your dog know basic commands? (Sit, stay...) Sit, lay down, give paw, stay

- Does your dog have any fears? No
- Does your dog have any unique traits that you have noticed whether in personality or physically? No, just loves to be loved. He also likes his dry food with lots of water mixed in and often won’t eat it until later in the day. Also, he hardly ever barks – I think only twice in the week we’ve had him.
- What are the three first words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Sweet, loving, gentle
- Truman is truly a wonderful and sweet boy. He is a big boy who is pretty much perfect but does require more leash training and will need a physically strong person to do this part. He loves affection so would fit in well in any situation where a person or family has time to give him the attention he craves. He rides in the car perfectly and seems very relaxed wherever he goes. He does not beg for food when people are eating, hardly ever barks, and loves everyone. An absolute sweetheart.
