Walter came into rescue from a Kentucky shelter. He is a happy boy and affectionate with everyone, strangers included. He enjoys toys, going on walks and snuggling. He likes dogs and cats and quite likely kids though untested with them. He can be mouthy so is learning to be more gentle with his teeth. He is crated overnight and infrequently during the day for 2-4 hours. He remains quiet while confined and not destructive. Walter will let you know if someone enters the house or comes near the yard. Otherwise, he rarely barks. Walter would benefit from basic obedience training, particularly leash manners. He pulls hard on the leash when he scents something interesting by hopping forward. Walter requires LOTS of exercise as he is a busy boy; minimum 1.5 hours per day, walking morning and evening; playing fetch, rough housing with the resident dog and house zoomies. Walter likes to dig holes, like a typical terrier. Overall, he is a well adjusted happy puppy.
